At 722 College Street, The Mod Club occupies a 1922 building with a two-storey concert layout. Previously billed as The Axis Club, the room now pairs its restored name with modern lighting, LED screens and live-streaming equipment, hosting touring bands and emerging artists on its regular concert calendar.
Rock / Psychedelic
Rochester trio King Buffalo formed in 2013 and built a catalogue of expansive psychedelic rock through independent releases and international touring. Their pandemic-era albums culminated in Regenerator; the forthcoming Doomsayer was recorded in a studio they built themselves, with a December 2026 release planned.
