Opened in 1922 as a vaudeville and movie palace, The Warfield brings a little theatrical scale to Market Street gigs. Marble, chandeliers and an Albert Herter mural survive its cinema years. Bob Dylan's 1979 run helped launch the building's next chapter as a concert venue.
