The Smashing Pumpkins
alternative rock / grunge / alternative / rock
Formed in Chicago in 1988, The Smashing Pumpkins broke through with Siamese Dream and the double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Their catalogue moves between guitar-heavy alternative rock, electronic experiments and expansive concept records, with Billy Corgan’s songwriting as its long-running centre.
