The Opera House began in 1909 as the La Plaza vaudeville theatre before spending part of its life as a cinema. Today, its Riverside concert room keeps the original proscenium arch and balcony while hosting touring musicians, comedy and other live productions.

Justin Nozuka
Rock / Alternative Rock
Born in New York and raised in Toronto, Justin Nozuka released his first album, Holly, while still a teenager. His songwriting draws on the Lauryn Hill records and seventies singer-songwriters that shaped him; later work includes the Mahalia collaboration No One But You and a hands-on approach to production.
Toronto singer-songwriter and guitarist Meagan De Lima comes from a musical family: both grandfathers worked as jazz musicians before the family’s life in Canada. Her song YOU CAN earned Arts Help’s 2021 Artist for Social Change award, adding a community-minded chapter to a career that includes collaborations with producer Mark Pelli.
